Nevadans? - Page 981

My co-worker and I just finished a huge report.  yay! I was up until 4:30a.m. and then slept until 8a.m. and headed to work.  I am beat but happy to be done.  Now I'm going to head to Home Depot to get some more lumber for the run.

Sheryl, I took some dayquil before work, and I feel a bit better. :]

I almost bought a huge see starter at walmart yesterday, but I decided to hold true to that 'I'll do it at my own house' thing I've got going on.

So I guess UNR has been thinking Ive been a student this whole time. They sent stuff to me about taxes. I called and said I'm not in school, I'm working to get the money to GO to school, and they told me theyve got records of me being in class. And I applied for that Fasfa stuff, but it said I wasnt going to get enough cash for school. Turns out I got approved for like 3 thousand bucks. And UNR charged me 2000 for 'going', lol. What a clusterduck. I need to make some calls.

that sounds fishy. i wish you luck in getting that straightened out.  and hope you feel better from your cold!

I'm not sure if it's a double yolker or not. Bad eyes and weak light. I'm sticking that sucker in the bator. I figure if a chick hatches from that egg, it should be big enough to lay in like 6 weeks.

 Hahaa! That would be epic, everyone would want one!!

Gotta see what comes out of that egg, make sure to take pictures.

Guess what I found on the floor of the coop this morning.......

Our first egg ever! Not sure who laid it but I would suspect a barred rock or black australorp.

Not too shabby on the size either. That's it next to a large grocery store egg.

Alright Elizabeth! I sure didn't need to wait too long today for your first egg! Are you going to blow the egg out and save it? I did that with my eggs and I'm decorating them now for my Easter baskets.

It looks like a Barred Rock double yolker by the way it's shaped. My Barred Rocks layed double yokers quite often last year. It's been awhile since I have any.
