Oh, how awful, Katie!  I am sorry to hear it.  Poor chickens.  I'll bet your aunt was beside herself!

Kill any predator that gets your chickens. Do not get all hippy with them and shoot them drt or trap them. If you don't they will learn your land is a free feeding zone and they can get into secured enclosures. They will keep coming back until you have no more chickens.

EweSheep, I was born and raised in Springfield. Nice to meet a Land of Lincolner :D

 

I just had 2 roosters, both broilers who had been reformed to pets who were my daughters babies do that 2 days ago. Thats what brought me to the thread. One broken neck the other heart attack. I've been on a predator killing spree since then.
