how did it go? what great finds did you get??

tested flock.2013 raising buff,gold and silver laced polish and Columbian wyandottes only.

 Holland lops,  lionx lops and Flemish giants.

It was great, hehe we found a trio of wheaton oegb, Darlene showed us them, woohoo, hes is just like our checo.
and i found 3 white silkies, very pretty, i think 2 are girls.

big_smile today was awesome. Came home with 10 birds he but they are worth it. Good seeing everyone always great to chat with chicken folk who are just as crazy as I am LOL.

1 DH- 4 kids-3 cats-3 dogs,2 bunnys Large Fowl1 BO ,1 RIRs(SQ),2 Marans,4 Cochins,2 SS,2 EEs,1 BLRW(roo),2 Wyandottes Banties1 NN,2 EEs,5 silkies, 1 Polish frizzle,5 Mottled Japs and a GS
WANT-Chantecler,Barnevelder,Buff Laced Wyandottes and Marans

The show was awesome today!  My first!  I really didnt know anyone there, and felt kinda silly saying, " hey!  are you from backyardchickens.com? " LOL

I got a cute Harlequin Rabbit doe that we named Karma, and pair of white call ducks !

Southland Farm has 1 resident witch ( me )1 farm hand ( DH ), 2 sons, one spoiled Maine Coon, 1 super spoiled Jack Russell, 2 domestic short hair cats Luna & Gucci, 1 rescued painted turtle, one Harlequin rabbit doe,  4 Cayuga ducks ( Nevermore, Edgar, Raven and Poe) 13 chickens ( 1 black sex link named Madea ) and two east indie ducklings Romeo and Juliet

Thanks!  We are working on the names for the call ducks. The female is snowflake, and think we might name the drake Frost. its still being discussed  LOL

I'm bummed - I was soooo looking forward to this show and while getting ready this morning my DW asked what I was doing and began to panic when I told her we were all going to the swap/show. She then confessed that they were having a surprise b-day party for me and that I couldn't go. I am sad I missed this show but I was great spending the day with family and friends.
