Is Bentonite safe to use?

The bag says Feed Grade Bentonite and it came from a feed mill so can it be used in my coop in the litter
 
A lot of people use stall dry (which is a mixture of DE and bentonite) in the litter to keep it drier and odor free. So, I'd say yes it would be okay to mix with the litter.
