Cedar shavings are excellent filler in dog beds.

I have had chickens ONLY since May 2008.  I am NO EXPERT!  I raise German Sheps since 1989.  I raise chickens with a dog breeder's mentality.  I breed for traits.  And put them all together and call it a burd.

No those are the last of my Blacks from last year.  All but 2 will be culled.  I like the big 5 1/2 month ole Black cockerel and one pullet.  The rest will either get homes or introduced to my dog's tummies.

The head on that one Fred Buff hen is killer.  So far I am only hatching from this hen and that male.  Classic line breeding your best first to give me the best chances for quality in the future.

I shown this hen at Connorsville.  She lost to one of the best Buff hens in the country.  A Buff Doug did not show at Crossroads.  But also beat a Doug hen to get RV

Does anyone have pictures of Lavender Orpingtons, posing well, that are close to standard?

There are too many breeds and varieties in the world to have them all... but its too hard just to choose a few.

Currently breeding Bantam Orpingtons, Anconas, White Faced Black Spanish, and RC Rhode Island Reds.  Also have Buff, Blue Swedish and Runner ducks along with Chinese Geese.

I agree but would also like to see that 6 month old baby when he's all grown up.
