Hope you get bored more often! Interesting, cool looking hens.

Love those Orps!

I don't care why the chicken crossed the road, as long as mine don't!

Neat pictures John. From this end the cuckoo looks like a regular (black) cuckoo.  Did you breed her and/or do you have more? A cock perhaps?

We just a small batch of orpy eggs and had two that came out really different. Are they cuckoo's or barred? Both are male. We cannot keep 2 roosters. Tell me what you think.SD532471.JPGSD532461.JPG

There are too many breeds and varieties in the world to have them all... but its too hard just to choose a few.

Currently breeding Bantam Orpingtons, Anconas, White Faced Black Spanish, and RC Rhode Island Reds.  Also have Buff, Blue Swedish and Runner ducks along with Chinese Geese.

They are indeed a form of cuckoo/barred however I don't think they are orpingtons. Their legs appear to be yellow and beaks are an obvious bright yellow, those would not be orpington traits. Barred Rocks maybe?? hmm.png

They are orpy's. The eggs we purchased are from NY and she doesn't have barred or cuckoo anything. Orpy's and silkies only. There is no mistake on the breed. Isn't it weird?
