I had a wonderful time on my trip!! I spent 9 days traveling and wish I could have stayed. We were there during the London Marathon. Saw plenty of chickens through the countryside.  I bet the show was off the hook. Im going to our State Fair this coming friday to see the chicken entries. Can't wait to see what the state has to offer.

your blues are every bit as good as theirs jeremy, check it out..maybe its just their camera but yours are slightly richer color.

aveca, it drives me crazy to think that there you can get hatching eggs from these beautiful birds for only $5... I just can't even stand to think about it. lol.png

I love the shape of their Blues, mine will look that good one day, thank you very much for the compliment.

Hi all,

I just recently got my hands on some 'in the making' crele orps.celebrate.gif

2 hens and 2 roo's.

The hens are a bit small for my liking but they have good coloring.

One of the roo's has awsome size but he is not true 'crele' as he is partridge x cuckoo.

The other boy however has wonderful color but is to small and I was thinking of crossing him back with some of my huge buffs.

Any idea's on how else I should improve type / color?

I'll try to get pics tomorrow.

Orpingtons are the best breed. Fluffy butts, huge eyes and such a friendly temperament.....what more could you want?

We all can thank Harry for these wonderful Whites.  He has put in alot of time and effort to see that these birds come to life.

I have had chickens ONLY since May 2008.  I am NO EXPERT!  I raise German Sheps since 1989.  I raise chickens with a dog breeder's mentality.  I breed for traits.  And put them all together and call it a burd.
