How are those little sweeties?? Do you still want me to send you eggs on Feb 18? That's the date I have your name on anyway. I won't have Ameraucanas any longer, but we can send Blue Orps and some from Miss Caroline.

Well, as you can imagine, I am going to have to cancel on the egg order. I dont have anyone lined up to buy any, and I was really hoping to have some of the blue egg layers, but 4 is all I can handle right now anyhow.
If I had a Ameraucana pullet, I would probably choose to sell Lily since she really belongs on a LONG leash. She would probably be my fave if I had a darned barnyard.

Lily and Dash are a hoot. Lily still wants non stop attention but she is THE messiest chicken I have ever seen in my life. She really likes to fight, she is an ornery cuss. I have been trying to get pics, she doesnt do it when I have the camera out, but she thinks Mom's little blue houseshoe is a monster. Ruffles her neck feathers out, and attacks it. I told Mom not to tease her with it, cuz NOW she has started attacked MY foot with just a sock on it. She puffs her neck feathers so far out she looks like one of those dinosaurs on Jurassic Park! What a character! She is also very loving tho. Acts like she doesnt like being petted, etc, next thing ya know there she is in your lap wanting attention.
Dash has taught Lily to back up, so now I have TWO chickens that can back up. Lily taught Dash to Jump, so I have a backing barred rock and a jumping showgirl!

Dash is very people shy, I just cannot get her to come to us, and I have played with her and given her LOTS of attention.
The only time I got her to even jump on my lap, was when I got the blow dryer out. She LOVED it, after I had washed her feet. She loves the heat.

I will have to get some pics taken, been rather busy lately with Christmas coming and all.

Hugs to all.

Sounds like a wild time at your house, LOL! Your mom seems to be very entertained by the girls, though. I'll take your name off, then. Have a great holiday! And you'll love Miss Lily better when she starts laying, if she's half the producer her mom is. They also calm down some at that age, as you probably remember with your other two.
