I'm in Complete shock right now...something abliterated my Silkies

Just wanted to thank everyone for the kind words. (((HUGS)))

As for the offer of eggs...thank you kindly, you all are just too sweet, but I think I'm going to wait until Spring until I do more hatching. I do have 8 young ones I hatched from Lisa in my basement, so I'll be able to rebuild my blues and splashes, it's the greys that I think I'm going to have trouble finding.

I hope you find what did this. You know they have those cameras you stick on trees for hunting. You might be ble to set them up around the coop and catch what did it. I am going to get 2 for my coop

Oh, Angie...I just got on line after the holifay and saw this.... we are SO SO SO sorry; what a rotten Christmas Eve present. Were you able to see any tracks in the morning? Any clues? Oh, we're so sorry....... Hugs.....

I am sorry for your loss also. I understand how you feel about this time last year something got about 30 of my ducks. Was terrible walking around with a 5 gallon bucket picking them all up. Then on Christmas we went to vist the kids in Atlanta came home last night late and we had had a bad storm that blew the whole top off my I call them adolessents...lol they were about 2 1/2 months old and had killed all my pretty little pearl white leghorns. I was gonna have 5 hens a 1 roo perfect set.......I also had my little crippled brahma in there as a surrogate and the storm took her too......It can be so hard sometimes........
