Silkie chicks, how early can you tell gender?

I have two silkies that I'm trying to figure out. They are 3 weeks old now, and at times I think it's a pair

, and the other times I think both boys.

. Don't know why, but it never crossed my mind for them to both be girls.

I fear the bump where the comb will grow is pretty much the same on both on them. They do differ a bit. One seems to be more aggressive, and their chirp is a little different - one louder, the other softer. They grow pretty much at the same paste, but one's feet are more "hairy", and the other's chest fluffier.

Also the buff one seems to be stretching over the grey one …. and that’s also the one that’s aggressive and louder.

They were few days old, when I took these pictures:

I will have to take more recent ones.

I am continuing research on how early you can tell a boy from a girl. I have only silkies and have had them for the last 7 years so,
I am currently note taking on 15 chicks, white, black, partridge and calico.
This is what I have noticed
- -boys cling to mom more.
--Runts are more apt to be boys.
--All chicks hatched with head poms have grown up to be girls.
Long beaks on chicks =70 % chance being male

pm me with pics at 2 months and well check fo signs of sex

One of mine is has more of a bump on top of it's beak... it's around 14 weeks old. It's our favorite silkie and we are sure hoping it's not a roo. I don't see anyone mention a bump for male, do females get them too?

I was curious about this too, I have two white eleven day-old silkie chicks who may as well be twins except one has a prominent black bump at the top of the beak and one without. One definitely holds itself in a "roo stance" with his head held high and his chest puffed out (the one with the bump) and the other is more timid and lady-like with a more hunched posture, so I'm definitely thinking pullet there. Seeing them side by side like that definitely makes me think that the one with the bump is a roo though, which is kind of a bummer since he's probably my prettiest chick. Has a little bit of an attitude problem though, so I might not be sad to see him go to a new home before it's over with, lol.
