Pictorial Tribute to My Older Girls (Sorry DialUps!)

Two of my students emailed me today about our hatching project and I had to tell them the ones we got Dec 7 haven't developed at all. I'm so looking forward to trying it again after we go back.

Great pictures Cynthia. I can really see how big Meg is in those pics. She is a healthy girl. I can see why you love her looks so much. Sorry I don't have that combo anymore. her color really is outstanding. Your whole group looks very healthy and pretty. I love to watch a flock freeranging and how they congregate on steps.

This reminds me of what my flock should look like in about a year. RIR's, Amerucanas, EE's, GLW's, Buff Orphs, Favvorels, and Marans.
I love the mixed flock look

Thanks, all. Julie, Meg has the softest expression on her face, too. I pick her up and hold her at least once a day, at her insistence and she just has the sweetest face! At least I have her from your Big Red and his Buff Orp ladies. She's a joy. If you ever do have more of that combination, let me know!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWW I love mixed flocks also. I have a few different breeds too. Your birds are all so beautiful!!! On Christmas I was taking pictures of my bantams, and then realized I hadn't taken any of the big girls for awhile. Snap snap snap, now I just need to get them downloaded.
