Who here is into Photography?

I'm just curious who on BYC is into photography. Perhaps if you'd like to tell what camera you have, some of your favorite methods, and maybe some shots?

Personally, I have some cheap digital camera that I only use for dangerous things that hurt cameras, like road trips with buddies and school events. I also have a Nikon D5000 for more artsy pictures. My mother and I share lenses when we get the chance and she has a Nikon D50 and a D60. We're both in the same wildlife photography club, so we switch cameras on occasion during safaris.

I love taking photos with my "cheap" (for a camera of course) digital camera just for fun though. I'm going to be in photography this next semester at school though.

2 Boston Terriers, 2 Paraketts, 1 Zebra Finch, 1 Desert Tortoise, 3 Golden Sebrights, 2 Silver Sebrights, a German Spitzhauben, 3 Polish, 2 EE's, 3 Red Silkies, 2 White Silkies, and a Modern Game Bantam, a Khaki Campbell, a Cayuga, and a mean Piegon.

MY camera is a Canon Powershot A590 IS.  Not the best camera but it works fine.  My parents have a fabulous Canon EOS Rebel (not sure if that's the name).  Almost every picture it takes is a great photo.  I like photography!

The awesomeness of a movie can, under normal circumstances, be easily calculated by counting the number of cars destroyed and multiplying that figure by the number of witty comebacks issued by major characters. The Avengers is a very high ranking movie on this scale.

"Harrison Ford is the President of the United States" is the perfect movie tagline.

I LOVE photography but I am not very knowledgeable about it.  I know I have a good eye though.  My camera is the Canon Rebel xTi 10.2 mp and it was expensive.

I love taking close up shots. I just wish I had a real camera and a real macro lens. For now I just have a point and shoot Cannon PowerShot A710IS.

That spider looks like a Muppet!!!!  He's actually cute!  And I hate spiders.  I love wildlife, like the verbena and daisies in my pics.  I have some of cactus too, but not many people appreciate desert life like I do.

Beautiful pictures! I bought a very expensive and hard to manipulate digital camera and I get so frustrated with it that I have lost interest in photography. My best pics I took with a cheap 35MM that cost like 10 bucks. I love black and whites.

If you're going to complain about farmers, don't do it with a full belly or a mouthful.

Mine is expensive and digital, but it is pretty much dummy proof.  The danged dial has icons on it for different settings.  I mostly use the auto, with whatever icon choice I want, like still life, action, portrait, etc.
