Do ducks lay light green eggs?

Why is it an undesirable throwback trait? What does that mean?

I don't know why it's an undesirable trait, but I did read somewhere that some Campbell derived breeds will lay the green eggs as a throw back to the Campbell background (Saxony and Harlequin come to mind). Personally, I think it's kind of cool.

I do sell my duck eggs.

I'm not sure, but I think it has something to do with show quality

I've just got a small flock of pet ducks, and don't show my birds, so I was thrilled with the color of the eggs.

No, because nobody's laying right now.

Wish I would have thought of it earlier. They were quite striking next to the pearly whites that my Magpie laid.
