I got a LF Fav pair and some eggs that go on lockdown today, from Cloverleaf.

I love my two 11 weeks olds! So I am excited to see what hatches.

Hoping to have a quad, or at the very least, a trio when all is said and done.

Love having threads for specific breeds!

HI KIM!!!!  frow.gif  Woo Hoo!!  How many eggs made it to lockdown??

One day I hope to get SFs from Cloverleaf droolin.gif I recently bought some from PiperOmar, I think some of her stock comes from Cloverleaf - if I remember correctly....Maybe this weekend I can get some pics uploaded....

Yes, Cloverleaf has some amazing birds!  I've had the good fortune to see them in person when she took in some extra roos for me to pass along to their permenant home.  She's wonderful ^_^.

Aww...thanks!!  wink.png

Yes, n8ivetxn, Laurel's cock came from me, but sadly, she lost her Henry this last week.  It was a very sad day in Bend, and in Canby.  Henry was a very special boy.  I finally get to go see her place this coming weekend, I'm really excited!  She's been here lots of times, but I've never been there.  While we are in Bend, we are going to see the Favs at the High Desert Museum, they bought chicks from us a year ago, and we haven't seen them yet either!  wee.gif

This whole Fav thing is a sickness, I tell you!!  LOL  We started about 4 years ago with a pair of hatchery LF Salmon Favs (which we still have, my son can't bear to part with them - yes, I have a whole extra pen for hatchery birds that I do not breed, good grief!)

We now have large fowl in Salmon, and starting lines of buff and blue / black.

We also have bantams in salmon, blue salmon, black, blue, splash, buff, my son is working on partridge, and we are getting whites soon.

I am a new chicken owner, and like all of you have fallen in love with this breed.  I thought I would post some pictures of my little pullet just to see what you more experienced BYC members think of her body type, conformation, color, etc. She was sold as a salmon but the coloring on her back seems to be a little dark? All comments and opinions will be appreciated! I can't wait to get some more of these guys!

I am not an expert.  I just have my first batch of Salmon Favs, but she looks beautiful to me.  She looks a little darker than mine, but not overly so.  Looks like she has nice legs too.

Wife to a patient husband, mother to 2 great kids, 1 hunting cat, ? gold fish (they had babies and we can't keep count), 7 4-H sex-links,3 Salmon Favorelles, 1 Mottled Houdans, 1 Cochin bantams,1 Araucana and 2 Llamas.
