That's part of what I love about the Favs personalities. Just when you're thinking "good grief, won't you freaks ever settle down" they do just that, and become the calm, curious birds we all know they can be. BUT one of them gets goosed by the boogie man every now and then, and goes hopping and flipping across the yard...it's hilarious! They are such goofballs, I can't help but laugh at them!

post #9763 of 133454/15/12 at 12:42pmGot two hatched. Cute little buggers! Two were "stillborns" and rest of them didn't develop all the way...probably incubating problems or shipped eggs.
Glad I got two and hope they both are GIRLS!

i need y'alls expert opinion on my new bird... I'm gonna use him for breeding one way or the other just want to know what i need to cull for in the offspring... i have 1 hen that i have 120$ in lol... i ordered eggs 3 times last year and only hatched this one hen... Ive been looking for a roo ever since... the lady i got him from does not know the origin of this bird... a friends husband gave them to her after the wife passed away... she knows the lady had them for a few years and she hatched this bird last fall so if its hatchery its a few years removed...

That's one of the things I love about them too! They are silly things. We have a hen named "Clumsy" because she could not get out of her own way for her first 6 months of life... now she is the smart one who gets out when the others can't figure out how to.
