That's part of what I love about the Favs personalities.  Just when you're thinking "good grief, won't you freaks ever settle down" they do just that, and become the calm, curious birds we all know they can be.  BUT one of them gets goosed by the boogie man every now and then, and goes hopping and flipping across the yard...it's hilarious!  They are such goofballs, I can't help but laugh at them!  love.gif

Then they will fit right in to this funny farm!

Got two hatched. Cute little buggers! Two were "stillborns" and rest of them didn't develop all the way...probably incubating problems or shipped eggs.

Glad I got two and hope they both are GIRLS!

Sorry to hear your hatch wasn't more successful. Hope both of them are girls.

i need y'alls expert opinion on my new bird... I'm gonna use him for breeding one way or the other just want to know what i need to cull for in the offspring... i have 1 hen that i have 120$ in lol... i ordered eggs 3 times last year and only hatched this one hen... Ive been looking for a roo ever since... the lady i got him from does not know the origin of this bird... a friends husband gave them to her after the wife passed away... she knows the lady had them for a few years and she hatched this bird last fall so if its hatchery its a few years removed...

lay it on me i can handle it the good bad and the ugly lol ...

I agree pretty nice bird for sure. Considering what most faverolles look like out there you got lucky. That Woman must have know what she was doing with them.

That's one of the things I love about them too! They are silly things. We have a hen named "Clumsy" because she could not get out of her own way for her first 6 months of life... now she is the smart one who gets out when the others can't figure out how to.

Family, dog, garden, aquariums, lizards, and chickens what more could a woman want? Why a horse of course!!!

how sweet! i have one of the chicks who is always getting lost, mama hen has the others located but this little one either gets sidetracked and isn't paying attention, or goes straight when all the others turn a corner- it is so funny!
