Well, I know I can narrow it down by one as we have one roo who has an asymetrical face.  I can't quite decide if he is crossbeaked.  I noticed a while back that his comb didn't run straight, my daughter commented that one eye is crooked, and after closer inspection, his entire face looks twisted.  He's a sweetie to us, but does want to be dominate with the boys.  We have a soft spot for odd balls, so he will probably be staying as long as he is healthy and eating well.

Wife to a patient husband, mother to 2 great kids, 1 hunting cat, ? gold fish (they had babies and we can't keep count), 7 4-H sex-links,3 Salmon Favorelles, 1 Mottled Houdans, 1 Cochin bantams,1 Araucana and 2 Llamas.

It seems like it has been forever since I had posted but I thought I would update and post pics on my bantams. I still have Lenny, Squiggy & Shirley and also some of their kids now. LOL I also had bought some eggs but none had hatched. The P.O. was pretty brutal.

They are all by far my favorites in the flock. I just love them. It is hard to believe they are a little over a year old now.

Here is Squiggy. AKA The Squidster. LOL  He always stops what he is doing to pose for the camera. He recently lost his signature one long tail feather that curled. I just love this guy!

It is hard to get a picture of Lenny because he has a wife and kids now and takes them for long walks over to the neighbors! I will have to post a little older picture of Lenny.

Here is Lenny's wife Gretchen. I guess Lenny chooses by personality and not looks! LOL She just hatched a clutch of hers in this picture which apparently, most were Lenny's kids!

Here are some of the kids

And little Shirley. She flits around and does her own thing and thinks I have to give her food constantly! She is quite bossy with the other hens, no matter how big they are!

I also have a couple white youngsters pop up.

Beautiful and interesting!  Is Gretchen 100% Fav, or a mix?  Lenny is Georgeous.  I can't wait to see how my 7 week olds turn out.

Gretchen is a mix although I am not 100% sure with what. Her mom was definitely a turken. She has the color of a Fav hen and a beard but she also has a small crest on her head which would make me think silkie. So, I am not sure what her mix is for sure.

How's this one looking? I got her from a feed store so I know she's not show quality. but just out of curiosity, how does she look to you?

She's pretty dark, and her body shape is off a bit, but she looks a lot like my one hatchery Fav hen. :)  Hopefully she's nicer than mine! gig.gif

Haha, yeah, she's sweet. At least she got her beard. It took a while.

Hey, thanks for the link.  When I have time I will have to read more.  Good writer and artist.  Walter definatly has something in common with DerperallaWalter face 2.JPG

I have to give a shout out to Cloverleaf!  I bought some eggs at the Canby swap.  Last week I had a 100% hatch rate on her gorgeous Salmon Faverolles.  My eggs from Ed did great as well, both shipped and picked up at the swap.  I'm thrilled!  Thank you both!

This is only my 2nd 100% hatch ever.

I have now come to realize that I had previously had my humidity up a little too high for LF eggs.  My silkies have been hatching great but I had been having a hard time with bigger chicks.
