you plug it into the wall then plug the incubators into it. in our case I have one that will keep a 500 Watt computer up for 2 hours. so my 2 incubators use 40 Watt bulbs so total 80 Watts. that means I can go with out power for 8-10 hours befor I run out. hasn't happened yet. when not used on the incubators it is used on the computers.

As to the Lemons Laying we will see when they decide to start.

I still can't figure out what the one is that's beige with white spots? I'll see if I can get pics of them today! I am looking forward to the eggs Lori! They should be here about 6am in the morning. I'll let you know how they made it!

We now have lemon blue, brown red, mille fleur, and splash bantam cochins and blue/splash langshans! ...See my website for Show ASPC/AMHR horses. Will add the chickens to my site as they age and I can get good pictures!

Definitely post a pic of your odd chick!

My second millie for the year hatched the other day and she's much paler than what I'm used to hatching. I have 2 more from the same pullet that should hatch soon, so I can't wait to compare them. And today I finally got an egg from a different pullet. I don't know why my millies always take so much longer to lay eggs for me, but they alway do. And they're in the sunniest pen!

I am loving my self-blue chicks! Soooo pretty. I have a brooder full of buff silkie chicks and self-blue d'Uccle chicks and it looks like silver & gold in there!

The indoor brooder has the newest chicks, 3 black & 3 self-blue, plus my pale yellow millie. Soooo much cuteness! I need to get more pictures...

Are they expensive? Is there a certain kind that fits the Genesis?

The UPS that is being discussed are for computers and they very in price range based on the load that they are expected to carry and how long.

The one I have we got about 3 years ago and was about $80 but has save 4 hatches sofar. So I think it has been worth it in the long run.

Intersting! The beige one looks like it's coming in quail-colored. But the blue one looks BLUE with some mottling? Pretty babies!
