Moonchild and Lady Chickadee those chicks are awesome! Moonchild, are those blue mille fleurs? I have one that same color and after looking online, that's the closest color I could come up with. Lady Chickadee, what do you think yours will be? That looks like a special little chick!

This one's feathers are coming in very beautifully. I'm hoping for a girl.

Yes, they are a TRUE bantam which means there is no large version/counterpart of their breed. As are sebrights, japs and a few more

I'll post more pictures once she/he gets more feathers in. The d'Uccle eggs I have in my incubator(eggs from the same trio) go into lock down in a week, hopefully I'll have a variety of colors.I accidentally cracked one of the eggs but I put clear coat of nail polish over the dent in it and its developing fine.smile.png

Thanks! I have no idea what it will turn out to look like but I'm excited to see what it will look like as it grows up.

Hello everyone, I can't remember if I posted in here telling you guys that I changed my username.  I was thebutress (that was actually my husbands account).  So I made my own since he was getting all my emails.  Anyways, I took some more pics of my little flock. He is 3.5 weeks today.  I know everyone thought he was a roo last time.  I actually think I see some pink at the base of his little comb now.  I was hoping it was imagination, but...I think it really is there...

That's a cute little boy. I love the awkward stage when their real feathers start coming in. tongue2.gif

I really want him to be a girl ;) I think I will probably have to find a home for him.  We love him to death, but everyone is turning into roos!  Agh, our luck! Next time I will buy many more at first ;)
