Hey Kim, did you get those from the person we talked about?

God Bless,

Hi Royce! No, I have not heard back from said person yet. I am going to be hatching my one and only gals eggs out for a while. She is still laying very well and I have plenty of time to do staggered hatches, with that said I am waiting ANXIOUSLY to hear from that person!!!!!!! *bites nails*

Thanks Royce!

Len,

Thanks a million but I just can't make it down there right now and I have some babies that I just hatched out from my girls eggs that I will be growing out........just wish it didn't take them so long to lay an egg. LOL! You are very generous to offer Len and I appreciate it more than you know!

Yeah, my try with local Welsummers wasn't that great. When I am done with remodeling and getting things fixed up around here I will go for hatching eggs again. They are beautiful birds.

Ewesheep (or others way up in the north),

Do you have any problems with the combs freezing on your Welsummers? I love the breed but am a bit concerned about the temps up here. The Americaunas I have handle it well, but that pea comb is a bit better for heat retention I'm sure.
