I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question, ramirezframing???

My Sultans just came in.  They are supposed to be bantams, but I think they're standard.  They're almost exactly the same size as the Crevecoeur chicks they came with.  They're very cute and lively though!  I've asked Ideal to look at the pictures and let me know.

Very cute though :)

Oh my goodness!  How cute!    My Sultans were alot bigger than the rest of my banties too.  Let me know what they say. smile.png

They are cute but I didn't get to enjoy them at all today!  On the other hand, I got the roof on my coop!  Yaay!  All I have to do is hang another set of doors, create a guillotine door, put the last bits of plywood on the walls and put up some hardware cloth on the windows.  Oh, I also want to paint the floor which I haven't done yet (waterproofing paint).  Then it's throw in the bedding and stick 'em in.  I'm sure I can finish this tomorrow!  Then I just have to start on the enclosed run.  But they'll have plenty of room in the coop until I finish that.  Then it's on to the second coop, ROFL

Thanks, I'll need it!  I'm trying to work out what I can build with what I have left of lumber, LOL.

BTW, if you get the chance, I'd love to see more pictures of your darling chicks!  I think I like the "awkward" age best, for some reason, that's the time they're the cutest to me, don't ask me why?!?!?!

Hey yours have pink legs too, hmmm.

My sultans were the same size as my polish but a little bigger than my silkie/serama mix.

Since you mentioned it, I looked at their legs and noticed they're a light blue.  Don't know if they'll get darker as they grow, but, yes, the end of their toes and bottoms of their feet seem skin color/pinkish

I'm wondering, the 5th toe looks like a deformed growth on most of my Seramas with some having a decent sized integer.  Is that still considered good or are they supposed to have a full long toe?

They are the most lively little buggers!  My leghorns, which are supposed to be lively, are calm compared to these buggers!  LOL.  They're super comical!  My poor little serama chick, who was all alone until these guys came, was so taken aback by their liveliness, but now joins in and is totally at home!

My Sultans have pinkish, blueish legs too.  I think that's normal. hmm.png

When you said Serama, did you mean Sultan?

That's so cute! lol.png

Well Serama and Sultan sound similar. lol.png  Has Ideal gotten back to you about the size of your chicks?
