Very Nice JJ.  Hoe big are the individual interior spaces?  I am in the process of separating my large coop into three pens and was curious about space.  I am dividing a 10' x 20' into three pens  (standards and bantams).

Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty, well-preserved body. but rather, to skid in sideways, totally worn out and exhausted while shouting loudly "WOW! What a ride!"

The coops are 4x4 and the runs will be 4x8.

Cool. My bantam coop gives my little ones the same .... they have a hair under 3 x 6 coop space, in the bantam coop.

sorry JJ, some how I missed that one

would need to see front shots too to be sure, but looks like 3 males from the extra white on them. Little pullets tend to be more black, especially across the back with thin white lacing to the feathers, just like the adult hens.

with the abundance of white on these, I'd have to say males for now.

The center one, maybe, but still leaning male on it too

Believe it or not I am good with that, exactly what I wanted. I am getting plenty of pullets out of my pen,but as you know the males are no good.

Gah! Don't tell me that they are all males! I tried to sex them in the first 2 days (by wing feathers) and I thought I had 2 males and 3 females. Oh well, there are 5 more chicks in the brooder and 2 adolescents out in the coop. I should have named her Fertile Myrtle. Lol

Anyone want to trade some porcelain chicks for quail D'Anver chicks? I'm in CT.
