ok show me your most bird looking chicks, I've seen them out there. I'll judge them, no prizes this time. this gos until after the first of the year or untill I get 20 entrys. I'll pick a top three at the end, and list them here.

put the birds name, if they don't have a name make one up big_smile easyer to sate placeings

ok I'm adding classes

primitive

bird of pray

song bird

you can state witch class you would like in, or I'll do it. you can also put gender, breed, and age if you want, but it will not be a judgeing factor.

Do you mean when chickens look like birds of prey ha ha? I think my black ameraucana sometimes look like crows and hawks a little bit but I don't have pictures.

I think the op means like the way some bantams look a lot like wild local birds.  I think sumatra hens look like crows.  Look at the photos of Sumatra hens here on the BYC breeds forum. I don't have any "birdy" chickens but I know what the op means. And, yeah, I think a lot of Ameraucnas look quite hawk-like. I have two splash Ameraucanas but they don't look much like birds of prey. I had some blue ones I hatched and they sure did.

Buff Orps, Ameracauna, and WCB polish.....and I'm just getting started!

Sorry I guess I could have been a little more detailed, more like any wild bird, primitive, bird of pray, or I had a OEGB that looked like a song bird when he was young.

kayjuggler has the idea, I just wanted some birds that look more like other birds then chickens

I hope that gives you all a better understanding

edited so I could fix spelling roll
