So true...My husband is always pointing out the similarities of my chickens to "raptors".   Even my sweet silkies turn ferocious for food!

Your white one looks exactly like my white EE.  I named mine Angel because she got the prettiest wings as a chick.  I also have a black EE, so probably should have named them Ebony and "Ivory" but Angel stuck! wink.png

Those are great suggestions! I really like Ginger!

Ebony and Ivory would have been really cute, but if the name sticks that's all that matters!

So many names to consider!

Thanks for the suggestions :) Cinnamon and nutmeg are both great options.

I didn't have a spice theme going, but I named my two white ones Yeta, and Yeti.

wife to dh, one son, 2 cats, 1 American Bulldog, 1 Mini Schnauzer, I mutt, mixed flock, 10 LF Buff Orps & 15-20 LF bbs Orps (will be thinned down).  I do not hustle or sell & rarely buy.  I am just trying to get a couple of nice flocks of Orps & maybe show one day.  My progress is slow, my funds are limited and quality will always come before quantity.

Your flock is beautiful.  Are you going to mix the Rocks and Reds into the flock?

LOL That is just too funny! "Ebony the great rat hunter!" thumbsup.gif

This is my pretty almost pencil EE, hatched from my own flock, a blue Amer roo and could be any of a number of hens.  She doesn't look like anything I have so far!

This one is Americauna and Partridge Silkie.  Does that make her an EE?  Or no?
