
Long time ago, one of my EEs ran over, grabbed a fence lizard, dashed it on the patio concrete really quickly (wham-wham-wham!), and swallowed it down in one gulp! It was amazing how much she looked like a hunting dinosaur from Jurassic Park. Her ancestry was showing, half chicken, half Velociraptor!
So true...My husband is always pointing out the similarities of my chickens to "raptors". Even my sweet silkies turn ferocious for food!
LOL-Maybe I should have thrown it into the middle of the flock and allowed them a nice breakfast? Naa, I don't want my egg layers eating rats
