This is SLW pattern ignore her naked brother there and wheaten peeking

I've been calling her that (white with black neck and tips) because that's what I was told where I bought my chix (guess I can't count on accuracy for every chick).....so what you're saying is she's a Columbian Wyandotte? Thanx for the feedback...I'm a Newbie so I've got tons to learn~!~

3 Silkies, 2 EE's, 1 Wynadotte, 1 dog, 2 African Clawed Frogs, 1 Lutino Cockatiel, 2 Sugar Gliders...and 1 Wonderfully Understanding Husband!

I didn't see her well enough to see if she was a wyandotte but they may have had the breed right. LOL  If she is, they are rare.  You don't find Columbian Wyandottes just anywhere.

Well, no.....I want to, but I'm still on the fence about naming him because I don't know if I'm going to end up keeping him.  He doesn't have very many EE features that I like (beard, muffs, slate legs, etc) but most importantly I'm not sure I'm going to like his temperament.  He is still a teenager so I'm giving him the benefit of a doubt for a while longer.  He hasn't straight up attacked anybody, but the other day he came up to me and started pecking at my knees.  I shooed him away nicely, then he left.  Ten seconds later he ran back over and REALLY pecked my leg lol....My second shooing wasn't nearly so courteous...so you could say he's on probation right now haha! I have 3 other roos and they are all just so easy going and gentle. This one may be developing a mean streak...

Hi everyone.  I have posted in the E. TN thread & just thought I would here too.  I have several EE cockerels that were hatched in early to mid May.  I am trying to find them homes or they are going in someone's freezer.  If anyone is in the Knoxville area (I am in Dandridge) and would like one or all please let me know.  I will try to get pictures up in the next day or so.  They are not all pretty but some are and there is 1 that is an EE x RIW and 1 is an EE x BCM mix.  The rooster has the blue egg gene & most of the hens are either blue/green/pink.  Also all the cockerels either have willow legs with the exception of 2 and if you want them for your freezer that's ok too.  Thanks

I love looking at all the pictures of the beautiful EEs.

wife to dh, one son, 2 cats, 1 American Bulldog, 1 Mini Schnauzer, I mutt, mixed flock, 10 LF Buff Orps & 15-20 LF bbs Orps (will be thinned down).  I do not hustle or sell & rarely buy.  I am just trying to get a couple of nice flocks of Orps & maybe show one day.  My progress is slow, my funds are limited and quality will always come before quantity.
