Got me some rumpless Araucana mixers today at an auction.  I think they are mixed anyway because the roosters had single combs, and a lot of red leakage on one of them and the other a little red leakage on them and they were suppose to be silvers.

I really liked them though and gonna breed them into my EE's and Crested EE's (my project).  They didn't have the ear tufts but that's fine because I like bearded ladies anyway.

We just bought 3 sweetest EE's from a neighbor! So well tempered, and we get 2 eggs a day, if not three. We're hoping these girls will set a good example to our younger flock!

Here they are! We have named them Gracie-Lou Freebush, Mrs. Weasley, and Mary Mary Quite Contrary... (I will get a better picture tomorrow!) I'm not sure the specific names of their colors... But we have a grey/whiteish one (Gracie) a red one (Mrs. W) and A blond/red one (Mary)

Our first three eggs ever!! (Green, sometimes with speckles!, minty green, and a pinkish/tanish!)

Here is my cockerel...bought as a BBS Ameraucana egg from a BYCer. He & his hatchmates were born on 6/2/12 so they are 10 weeks old. He is the only one with this coloring...is this "leakage" that I see people writing about?  Unfortunately he can't stay so if anyone in the central FL area is interested PM me. Sorry for the bad pix- he is camera shy & a friend was helping take them with my cell phone.

Here he is as a chick:

Hello all, can I get an opinion on my roo?  I'm pretty sure he is non-conforming for color but if you had to describe him what is he?  Blue with red?  Just curious since I really don't know what to call his color.  Shame he doesn't have a beard, but check out those earlobes!  They seem huge!  LOL  I have two of his sisters, one is white and red and the other is I guess what you'd call blue wheaten.  His brother was all dark grey with red on his shoulders and head when I rehomed him.

Fred " the wooster"  :)

back to show his "lacing", he has some less defined lacing on his chest too.

I'd call him blue/red with silver.

Yeah I know about picture, but I have an excuse this time, my camera is not charged up.  I promise to try to get some up by next weekend.

Wow, he's prettier than my silver guy.

Love that lacing.
