Here's my Easter Egger named Sam.  Most non-chicken people assume she's a rooster, since ladies don't have beards, right?!?! lol

June's is good and so is my blue girl, Nora's, and even Barred EE, Riley, has a good beard.

I was just posting on the "diseases" board to find out what this is on my chicken. I thought she was some sort of barred rock. Turns out it looks like she is mixed with an EE and this is a beard!! LOL I was about to take her to the chicken doctor tomorrow, but just went out to feel it and its all feathers. Oh jeez. I learned a lot today!  smile

I have ADD and Dyslexia, they just don't understand... Oh look, a chicken!!!
I'm in Southeast MO with my mom, dad, older sis, and cuz. At Caney Creek Farm I own a flock of 5 Silkies, a mixed flock of 5 chickens, 11 SLW chickens, 18 Call ducks, 3 dogs, 1 goose, 1 mini donkey, 2 horses, 3 bovins, 2 Kune kune hogs and 3 Guinea pigs. I've thought of doing the Salmon Faverolle Easter Egger cross myself to add bigger beards, just wasn't sure because of the feathered feet and five toes, I don't think I would want them in all my EE's.
    I've also thought about Adding Polsih to them to get some crested EE's also.  Just like to mix and see what I come up with.
