Well, this is an old thread, but I figured I'd revive it rather than start a new one for NH!!

I am located in Mason NH, which is only a very short way from the MA border. I have no chickens yet, but I'm looking forward to getting our coop set up!

R U raising any certain breed or mixing the flock ?  I have a mix & a few crosses. I would like 2 get more this spring. We should meet up sometime

Mine are listed in my signature, this is a new adventure for me, so I am trying all of the breeds available thru my local feed store....and saturday I am getting SILKIES!!!! smile I would love to meet up! smile

I bought 3 RIR chicks from Agway in April, I had 4 eggs hatch & couldn't resist when I saw them, I tucked them under my Cochin hen Sadie, she loves the babe's , she loves being the Mom. Where did U order UR silkies ? I got mine from MPC. I like differant breeds as well. The girl I work with started me last May & I am so hooked.I'll B workn' in town Thurs -  1/2 day Sat.
U must know the Cope's ?
