No or Low Cholesterol eggs or Chickens

According to one website the silkie eggs are supposed to be lower in cholesterol and higher in amino acids then any other egg, and are good for seniors and anyone with high blood pressure or kidney problems.
 
Cholesterol is an essential building block for the cell walls and the brain. Cholesterol isn't what gives you heart disease...it is the material that causes cholesterol to try and repair the damaged cell walls that is the problem.

The thing that causes the damage include sugars, excess carbohydrates (from grains, starches, fructose, etc...) and vegetable fats.

When you cut open an arterial plaque, it is comprised mostly of oxidized omega 6 fatty acids...PLANT oils.
 
My daughter developed low cholesterol eggs as a high school science project and results were certified by a major university. She had 5 or 6 groups of chickens, fed them all the same laying mash but gave each group a different supplement. The group with lowest I(34 %)cholesterol was accomplished with an over the counter supplement. Since that time, I have taken the same supplement and have no cholesterol problems. If I recall, the same group of chickens laid about 10% more eggs and the chickens weighed approx. 9-10% more at the end of the experiment.

Sorry, but that is still a secret pending some additional research. Wish I could divulge.
 
I had a friend tell me that hens with no rooster around lay cholesterol free eggs. I absolutely know that’s a myth but can’t come up with a single article about it on google. Other than the fact that store bought eggs from a factory type setting have cholesterol and they only have hens there. Anyone??
