I had better pics of mine but my computer crashed last month and I think they got eaten alive. I'm going to try and get some that aren't so blury. I don't understand why more people don't raise wyandottes. I know the hatchery birds don't even come close to alot of birds that are posted on this thread. Not saying that hatchery birds are less important.
Phyll's family farm give Urch a try in Minnesota his are very nice. But a bit pricey. Talking about standard columbians. If your coming up this way I see a guy once in awhile that has the nicest columbians I've seen. Mike

Roo it would be nice to see a profile photo of that white Wyandotte female.  Hard to see much from the front.

Of course they remind of coloration in European birds - they ARE European lau

Are all European birds that light?  What part of Europe are they from?  Last ?, I promise, on this thread, how hard is it to take birds from country to country?

If you are looking for pics of classic wyandotte type that are more than illustrations, the 2008 Ohio National winners are posted on the Wyandotte Association website.  The color on the large fowl SL Wyandotte is particularly nice, but the tail looks a bit more cushiony than I imagined looking at the standard/illustrations.  Anyone else have an opinion on this?

Gorgeous birds!  Just gorgous!  I just love the round shape of the wyandotte and the cold hardy comb/wattle.

No one ever answered my question ha ha what's the personality of BLRW bantams. I don't like flighty or aggressive birds but they don't need to be super friendly.
Thanks,
Henry

I've only recently in the last 3 months gotten the bantams.  I've found them to be very friendly little birds.
