We have called one of our young boys Punch, as in Punch and Judy. As he is new to crowing and doesn't know the tune or lyrics yet he sounds like Punch saying 'That's the way to do it!'

Don't paint with too broad a brush. What you saw was the difference between one breeder's birds and the ones they sell. He/ she looks to be like a blue but the little guy is still pretty young. I would give him a little more time to feather out a bit :)

Owner of 3 OEGB's, 1 Jap Bantam hen,1 Dutch Bantam hen, 6 OEGB/Dutch/Jap crosses, 21 AG's,  4 Wyandottes (2 BLR's 1 BL, 1 GL), 3 WR hens,1 Speck Sussex, 1 Wellie, 1 bk Orp, 2 TB retired racehorses, 1 QH, 2 dogs- a "Teagle" & 1 that looks like the RCA Victor dog, 2 housecats -1 30lb. Maine Coon cross & 1 Manx cross, several outside cats & 10 Painted Desert Sheep + 15 lambs
