Best Meat Rabbits??

Best place to find a lot o fmeat breds at are rabbit shows. www.arba.ent. You may pay a good price for them. You will have a better selection of different breeds to chose from. Auctions are ok. Watch what you buy from them. Floridas are a good small meat breed. they do take a little extra time to grow out though. Got to watch the newzealand/flemish/other very large breed crosses. Sometimes you end up with more bone per pound then you do meat.

I just realised that I really didn't answer your question at all... Maybe check your local butchers to see if they know of anyone looking to buy rabbit pelts? Local taxidermists or maybe even small "Ma and Pa" outdoors shops may know of people as well.

Thats a good idea. Unforutnately there is nothing with in an 7 1/2 to 8 hr drive from here. In my truck that's a lot of money to look for a rabbit.
