Heehee. Yep, they match their fancy towel--I got some classy birdies!

They grow so fast! I can't believe it, only 6 days old and their pin feathers on their wings are starting to fluff out.

I wish they would learn to roost, they keep getting dirty behinds from sleeping on the floor. Are they picky about where/how they roost? Right now we've just got a 1/4" stick about an inch off the floor; I figured they are tiny and can't hop up much more than that. Maybe I should move it, or do they like a special kind of stick?

I don't know about what they would 'like' as far as roost goes.  Honestly, my chicks do not have a place to roost, but they are on about 2" thick pine shavings and not a one has had a dirty behind in the 2 weeks I have had them.  I also have 7 week olds, and some like to roost and some prefer to snuggle down into the shavings.
