Can some one tell me what a meterstick is? I did not have this in school and I have no idea. I need some young blood. PLEASE.

ok, SO IF

1 CM = 10 MM........ so are they saying, 1 centimeter = 10 millimeters. I think that I have that but
1 M = 100 CM........1 meter = 100 centimeters is that right?
1 M = 1000 MM......1 meter = 1000 millimeters is that right because there are 10 millimeters in one centimeter?

They have on his paper, a quenn termite is 5 millimeters I get that but how many termites would be in

a. ___________ centimeters. I said 30 because one termite is 5 millimeters so 2 termites would be one centimeter so 2 termites = 1 centimeter so 2 divided by 60 termines is 30.

b_____________ meters I don't know

c. ____________ millimeters would that be 300 because 1 termite = 5 millimeters and 5 x 60 = 300

One of the questions are how many termites would fit on 1 meterstick? ____________ I don't know what a meterstick is.

Please, he is in third grade. I'm not smarter than a 3 grader. LOL

Thanks to all that help. My brain is fried.

A meterstick is one meter. I'm a little confused by the questions though because you didn't say how many centimeters, meters, etc. Once you have converted the number for say 1 cm, you can add a zero to convert to one meter. Then multiply by the number of meters or centimeters. Does that make sense?
