I want to hatch some rhode island red chicks and i am looking to buy eggs locally. We are in Chicago. Please let me know if you can help

Look for a Chicago/ Illinois forum. There is one for many locations. Then post location and ask about RIR eggs, you would be surprised. On FB today someone was looking. If you have a good incubator, I have had excellent hatching in shipped eggs from all over. Some were even shipped lying on their side-- air cells were completely detached. But they recovered and all except 1 hatched.
