So how do you keep the cat out of the chicken feed

I have 3hens and one cock my one mixed Chinese hen loves cat food and some how my cat , chickens and dog have found a strange way of domestic symbiotic (didn't spell it right) my ocat andpens th garage door by hanging on the handle my dog helps push the door as soon as its open they race to my pet food stash and all of them almost look like they binge on the cat food. They have not gotten sick and always seem quite chippa so I would not worry.
 
I use to have a pet chicken who ate dog food. The dog got back at her by eating chicken food...I finally gave up and just scattered a handful of each onto our stone patio as a treat and put them each in a cage for their actual meals.
They slept in a pair of dog kennels in the garage. Every night they would mine to the garage when called and walk into their cages and cuddle through the bars. During the day they rained around the property and whenever my dad had visitors in his shop he had to set up an extra chair which they would both wait on to watch the guests talk.
