Raised Duck Pen w/ Plastic Pond and PVC Drain (Photos)

I'm trying to settle on how I want to house all these little bantams. A part of me wants to go with the whole pen thing, but turth is I doubt they would ever get any real free range time since I would have to supervise and I have dogs/kids, and a gazillion things to take care of through out the day.... So if I were to give them a sizeable yard in addition to a house, I would either have to clip wings, put up a ton of netting, or construct an aviary type set up, correct?
 
I had many of those same concerns. I can't let them free range because my grass was treated with chemicals 6 months ago. I didn't know then I would have ducks. I have a dog who though I don't thtink he would want to hurt the ducks, I think he would "play" too rough. I have calls and I would have to clip wings so they wouldn't fly over my fence.
I decided to build a raised pen to keep them safe. They really enjoy their pen. I am happy about how it all turned out.

This pen is now for sell if anyone is interested. Obviously, I'm not able to ship it. As such, it would need to be picked up locally. I've got it listed on eBay.
