This is a pre Sale for 6 French Black Copper Marans Chicks. Egg color can be seen in pic above. I have 4 hens and 1 roo who can be seen below. All are as close to the proposed standard as possible with feathered legs, goldish eyes and not too much copper.
Chicks can be shipped as soon as middle of February but you may also choose a ship date and I will set to that order.
I have started this auction with no reserve much lower than my usual price.
I will have a few other auctions going and I am happy to combine shipping to save $
Shipping is $45 no matter where in the continental US you are so please do mot PM or post your zip code.
Chicks will have a good heat pad, grow gel, and be in a well padded new box.
If you are in a Northern Climate you may want to push your hatch date a little further for when it is not so cold.
So far out of 50 chicks or more that I have hatched only one is mossie in color, and I know of one that someone hatched from my eggs. So it IS possible to get a mossie colored chick although not probable. I will not replace chick and can only promise healthy feather legged, and straight beaked chicks as the mossieness come in later when they feather out and can not be detected in chicks.
The Sire and hens are in the pics below, some pics are from the summer and others are recent. Pics of chicks I have hatched this winter are pictured below as well.
I can vaccinate chicks for Mareks for an additional $20
