Well, I obviously didn't read this before Saturday! Wish I had cause I would love to have gone. Darn! So did you make any good swaps? Find good homes for your babies?

I did have a productive day though. Got all the lumber and wire for my coop and run. Now just gotta get the time to build it. Found some really great ideas here for it. I can't wait to get started. And I found a lady selling eggs on Ebay that will ship me day old red sussex chicks the first week of June! Yippee! That gives me time to get ready for them. Gosh, there's a lot to do (and buy!) this next month!

I'm in Sylvan Springs just off of 269. Not far from you at all.

My DH and I did go, we decided not to take any chickens, because we were making several stops and I just couldn't decide, I thought they might not sale and they would be in the truck too long, we did take six dozen eggs and sold all of them, talked to a lot of nice people, and met some of the BYC members. There was a lot of people there. Some had dogs, goats, lots of roosters, & some plants. I do believe next year we will take some chickens to sell, if I have any that I want to sell. Sandy

Glad Ya had fun, tamsflock is right on the 2nd Sat of the month (except july & august because of the heat), not just 2 months. we will be there again to sell and have a fun time, some I met but others ya did not tell me ya where from BYC...

Vendors will be asked for a $3 donation, to come and look (i think) will be free. This was a learning expirement, because the Park wants to do it now. to Raise a little money to help the upkeep of the Park. Things like fixing the bathrooms, putting in a bridge across the ditch to get across to the park better, some said maybe gravel the parking lot again. Next month, we will have just vendors in the parking lot and everyone else will park at the ball dimond so the ones selling or buying is not having to watch the moving cars, because people was leaving early and some would not pull in to see because it looked crowded...

I have some pictures when I have time I will upload them. Thanks

Great, maybe I can make it to the next two. There's just too much going on at the old homestead right now. My chicks won't be here until 5 May so I won't have much of anything to swap, but it might be fun to come and just look around.
