Need chicken names?

My girls are:

Hazel- SS (cause I liked the name)
Apolonia -BA (named after my mom)
Sophie - BA (named after my maternal gma)
Josephine- EE (named after my paternal gma)
Bridget- Delaware (our puppy was going to be Bridget but we chose Miley, so the chick got Bridget)

Thought I would add our Miley:

I had to name some of my girls so I could remember which breed they were (being a newbie and all), while other more obvious ones have cuter names.

Australorp - Lorie
Delaware - Deli
Dominique - Nikki
Silver Laced Wyandotte - Lacey
Gold Laced Wyandotte - Wynona
Buff Orpington - Goldie
White Cochin - Betty White
Partridge Cochin - Reba
Blue Cochin - Clara (after my blue-white haired Grandmother)
Easter Egger - Elsie
Barred Rock - Racquelle
Silver Cuckoo Marans - Mary

I have a young Black Copper Marans Roo who part of one of his toes. I think we're going to call him "Mr. Stumpy"

and his BCM girlfriend "Mrs. Stumpy". We have a White Marans roo that we're thinking about calling "Edgar" (for Edgar Winter, the singer).

We also have 2 Splash Marans, 2 Blue Marans, and 3 Ameraucanas. No names for them yet. But the tiniest of the 3 Ameraucanas is the sweetest thing, so we're going to call her "Sweetie" (as long as she stays smaller and we can tell which one she is).

Then we have 12 assorted Easter Eggers that are mostly roos (7). We're hoping to give all the roos back to my husband's boss (that's where they came from). I'd like to keep a couple of the pullets and find homes for the others. None of them have names -- I'm not very attached to any of them.

Chicken naming can be a real art!

Lol
My feathered children are named Gertrude, BooBoo, Lola, (Mr.) Opal, Lilly, Gabriella, and Angi. I'm already thinking up more names for new comers this Spring. Thanks for all the ideas!
! I have a Mr. opal! I was just looking for new names for my 3 new ones! I do have a rooster that was named Greta but now he's Verde for his beautiful green feathers! Hazel, his partner didn't make it very long

I've only named 2 of my RSL chicks so far. Thier names are Magnolia and Pastel. Magnolia got her name because she was whiter than the others, we even thought she may have been a rooster but she's now growing some red feathers. Pastel got her name because it has the name paste in it and she is the one who kept pasting up the first week or so. :)

Great ideas for names, u should also add Lucy, HennyPenny, Henrietta & Margerie to the list!
My chickens names.

I'm getting two more chickens as two unfortunately passed away, RIP Henrietta & Margerie.

They will be called HennyPenny & Olive. Thanks for the name list.

UPDATE: Three new chickens now, whoop, whoop, so name change, trio names
Sage, Rosemerry & Thyme. Love it!

Wow these are all great! I chuckled when reading the very first post because a lot of my birds names were on there.
I have a barred rock hen named Bandit, a barred rock rooster named Prince, a bantam Cochin named Peck(because she's the smallest), a Leghorn named Moonbeam,an ISA brown named Cora(short for Corazon because she's all heart), a hen named Starburst because of her multi colored feathers(I'm not sure of her breed), 3 unnamed ISA browns that I can't tell apart and a large brown hen that I'm not sure of the breed named Big Mama.

Hey, I recently purchased a silkie hen who was born with only two toes on one foot. Does anyone have any funny name suggestions?
