I have met a lot of hard boiled eggs in my time, but you're twenty minutes.

The answer is simple!
DEB gets her pick of 3 chicks.  I get the leftover 3.  smile
IF they all hatch!  smile  If not, well, Deb still gets 3!  smile

Unless you can mark the chick before its hatched, we will not know who is who wink
WE can hope for another broody before the three weeks is up, so that could solve the issue.
And the way these birds are, I might have all of them setting before summer is truly started roll

Oh I'm not worried, we'll figure it out. At least we know where Tori and Rusty's lines are from, so that's a good thing!

Seriously, Im not worried. If this works it'll be wonderful!

OK!

Back to the grind. I have seeds to get in the ground, clothes to hang (septic line is broken, so I am washing by hand sort of) and lots of other piddly things to do, like stack wood.

Ashia, If you want to wait to learn about Kombucha till the chicks hatch, we can do it when you come out for them ( as I told Deb, I am only 20 minutes from Wasilla)
You are welcome to come out before that as well.

I also teach fermentation pf veges in case anyone is interested.
Real kraut, and other things like salsa droolin
When produce starts rolling in, is a good time to do it.
The raw kraut stays fresh if kept chilled for well over a year.
And it is nothing like the canned junk.
Mine is made like Bubbies brand.
My chickens go insane if I give them a bit of it!
