Well Dad at least didn't brew it in the BRM! It looks like I will be heading to Kodiak early and coming back around the 19th Tori.

5 horses, 3 dogs, 2 cats, chickens, and Koi.  ICEMAN and Khisa the Flemish Giants!   (I brake for typos - and I make a LOT)

Holding a grudge against someone is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.

UPDATE:  We have a total of 6 Penedesencas that have made it out of the shell.!!!
3 more are working on it.  There appear to be 2 dud eggs, and 1 chick fought hard to get out, got his/her head out, but we didn't catch how exhausted the poor dear was it in time, and it DIS.
There was 12 eggs total, so far, we have a 50% hatch rate from shipped eggs.  It will go up if the 3 other chicks make it out OK.
No bad.?

Also, when do you guys think would be OK for me to bring them home.???

Ash, I usually give them 24 hours. Just to make sure everyone is up and about, eating, drinking and dry. You can bring them all here, I'll stick them in with my two since they'll be all
alone, but I can't guarantee you'll get them back!>....gig

All kidding aside, you should have seen that broody take those eggs from Paula. Each time her hand went in there to put another egg in, you could just see it on her face. WOOHOO another one!ep
Then each time she would do a little shuffle with her feathers, sorta like us when our bra's are out of whack....big_smile

Two bullmastiffs, one Brussels Griffon, 10 Flemish giants, Black Copper marans and Delawares.

I have met a lot of hard boiled eggs in my time, but you're twenty minutes.

Man!  I wish I was there.!!!
I should have gone with you.!!!  sad

And sure, you can take the babies!  smile  I just want 2 of them! LoL
I wouldn't mind you keeping some of them, either.  As many as you want.  Honestly.  I already have 2 picked out (the only 2 I saw coming out of the shell!), and Deb R. is taking 3 I think.
The remaining 5 will be needing a home anyhow.  I can't think of a better place! smile

I have more Penes hatching out in about 2 weeks! (Along with the Marans)  So there is PLENTY of them to share! smile
