When my girls first reached POL, I bought some goose size wooden eggs at Michaels.  They didn't have any of the small ones but the big ones worked just fine!  Later, I found some of the chicken size ones at our feed store.

Golf balls work too.

Alert to local folks.  I have some BBS Ams from Pips and Peeps line parents in the bater, due to hatch on the 6th or 7th.  I may have some to sell, depending on how many I get, I am keeping some.  Should be a lot of splash and blue, as I have a splash and a black roo over two blue and one black hens, And the Splash roo seems more "active" if you know what I mean.

Hi All!

I'm in Napa with a small flock of backyard chickens. We have one Black Mottled Bantam Cochin Rooster. Two Bantam Mille Fleur hens. A Sicilian Buttercup hen and rooster. I can't wait to move out of the city so we can expand!

I'm interested in poultry shows in driving distance if anyone knows of any.

Welcome!  I'm over the range in Healdsburg!  We seem to get together with fair frequency, so keep a look out!
