Yes, they called me wednesday to let me know they couldn't ship out one breed.......but could ship out all others. And I confirmed with them again today that it did indeed go out wedneday.

Oh, man.  sad  I was REALLY hoping they'd had an issue and had to delay shipping.  Lots of us sending good luck for tomorrow morning.

Sorry to hear about your missing chicks!  I'm sure you already have asked, but I'm curious.  Doesn't Ideal have a tracking number for the shipment?  I know they do somewhere in their files.  Every shipment that has the ability to be tracked, and I believe chicks are shipped express....should have the tracking info. 
Hopefully they show up on the morning truck!

are you getting that storm ?? maybe that caused a delay.. praying for a good delivery for you

old as dirt, without the chicken poo.. have 2 kids, 3 grandbabies, cat, dog, parrot and 28 chickens and roos. married 38 yrs

could be that mid atlantic snow storm delaying the shipment . hope not that would really suck. hope you get them soon.

Some hatcheries don't express ship chicks if there is more than 25.  I ordered 19 from MPC and they said that if they don't arrive by the end of the 2nd day to call them and they'd give you a tracking number but they said don't call before that because you won't get one.  They have to have a tracking number but give them until tomorrow morning, lunch time, and then call and get the number.  Did they tell you they were express shipped?  If they weren't express ship they'll likely arrive tomorrow baring any weather delays.

We also ordered from Ideal, they shipped out wednesday.  It is saturday now, and no chicks in sight, may not arrive until monday.  Can they survive that long?
