let me start by saying Id start a new thread if I could but my phone won't let me and Im too cheep to go get a new one when this one works ok.
That being said I need a little advice for my fellow bantam lovers.
I live In the snow belt in N Michigan and only have 3 bantams. 2 roos and a hen obviously those numbers are no good. Especially since my little Boots is already getting too much attention. They live in a 4x8 coop without going over board how many should I keep / get so they can keep each other warm this winter. there is a good chance I will be getting rid of the second roo.
OMG I think he is so handsome! Wow, some kind of rosecomb or sebright cross I would think? Or maybe a standard hamburg x bantam? What a pretty boy. I'd put him over some kind of laced or partridge colored hens
I have a question on bantams . I have three golden laced / Plymouth Rock and they are very sweet and give me plenty of eggs . I also have some regular size barred rocks and my too started crowing three weeks ago
To top it off my largest bantam ,cluck , started mimicking him !!! I know she's a girl because sh laid an egg for me lol but is it normal for them to do that ???
