The difference between pets and pests is only on which side of the fence they're standing... keep your animals in your own property.

My first set of pigeons ever. Fell in love with the colors and had to have them. I have been calling them Modge and Podge. tongue

I know that the female (Gracie)is a homer pigeon bred by a racing club. (She sure likes to love him up a bit too much-missing feathers on parts of his face. I think that it's from her being a little obsessive!)

Here's their 3 mo. old baby. I think that it's a girl, but not positive. I'd like to sell her, but not sure how much I should ask for her. Help??
http://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/uploads/43379_3_mo_pigeon.jpg She's molting right now. Her feathers are a beautiful bluish color.

Also, one other question, will all of their squabs be this color? There was another that hatched with the beauty above, but it didn't make it more than a couple of weeks.

Thanks

That is a sex-linked mating. All blues will be hens, all reds will be cocks. You should get about half and half of each color, and there's a good chance of getting a grizzle (like dad) as well. And you're right about him being a Frillback smile
