Wire on the ground-Wire on the ground

Sand is around $15/ton here, cash & carry. Had three-four days of no snow or rain and was able to sneak in 2300# to do walkway from gate to coop. Just in time. Been too wet ever since to do it again. Used coarse sand, which is powder to 1/4" size. Good for grit all they want, and great to walk on. Easy to see and avoid the poop.

It's going to be sand for me as soon as it dries up enough to clean out the mess in there now. My ladies deserve better digs. They can get their grass out in the tractor and we always supply them with veggies during garden season.

I am feeding mine clover that I grew for them. They love it.

On those tractors, ¿how do you move the tractor around the yard and not get a chicken stuck between the tractor coop and the ground?

You'd be lookin like a fool with ya wire on the ground.
