My guess is a buttercup. BUT i am not 100% sure. Let's see what everyone else thinks...

Oh, it's too much of a mystery.  You'll have to send that chick to ME and I'll tell you what it is, in a few months......

Buncha Outdoor PET chickens, ducks, two Toulouse ganders, and four turkeys. Plus 2 wiener dogs, some bunnies and a rescue cat which owns me. Oh. And a house silkie....

Definitely not a buttercup.  Buttercup chicks are much lighter. (I have a buttercup)

My guess would be either partridge rock or wyandotte?

Breeding Welsummers and Barnevelders.

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

I have zero chicken willpower.

ETA: I'm gonna say its not a wyandotte, cause I looked at feathersite  (unless its a BLRW)

It is an Easter Egger.  I got one identical to yours for my "rare" free bird last fall.  Note the willow colored legs.  Mine is turning out to be a lovely roo.  I too went through all the same guesses as everyone else listed here, but trust me on this one.  They are cute little buggers when they are little.  Here is a picture of my roo a couple of weeks ago:http://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/uploads/40608_lester.jpg

I think it's either silver or gold partridge, my silver penciled Rocks that  I ordered from them had that color.
