So....talk about.....CANCER SUPPORT THREAD !! - Page 263

Wow, I haven't been on here for awhile, I feel bad about that.  It wasn't neglect, just been busy in the yard & garden etc.  Then my vacuum decided to suck the life out of the surge protector and I lost use of my computer til I got a new surge thingy.

Coyote  - been thinking of you and hope your struggles will lift soon, I mean something's gotta give!!  And of course deerman, Sara, broody - all you guys..........I think of all of you.  

I hate to report this with all of you going through the tough times with chemo & meds that can make or break you.  BUT - so far I'm doing great.  All my tests came back normal & fine.  I have NO complaints.  Just one more 6 mo. mammo to do.   It's been 2 years since my first diagnosis.  
 

I hate to follow Luna's GREAT news with this but, we were told Thursday that WellsFargo has decided that they are not going to pursue loan modification with us and are moving foreward with foreclosure.

We have tried to make it work, but with the obstacles, cancer, loss of income, downsizing, etc, it’s just not worked out. It’s only because of Family, Friends and the mercy of the Creator we’ve made it this long.

We have a phone call into our lawyer to see if there are any other options. We haven’t qualified so far for any of the programs out there. Time wise, I don’t know when we have to be out the door. I read one place that it’s 10 days after the sale, but we don’t know when the sale is. We are trying to scramble a camper or something for us to live in. I have a friend whose family owns a campground and can get us good lot rent and a couple others that have offered us a corner of their yard to park one. We’ve had 2 friends offer a corner of their properties to set up something. Finding a house or apartment is going to be really hard. I’ve got FurKids! Pet deposits are expensive and most have a limit of 2, I’ve got 7! Yes, Katie is a Service Dog and has to be allowed to live anywhere, but which of the others should I send away? I’ve had FatBoy for 16 years!! We will live in the truck or in a tent before I give up even 1. I did it years ago with my girl, Tippy, in Arizona, I can do it again. How many can fit on an air mattress before it pops?!

I don’t know where we are going, what we are doing, or when it’s all going to be happening, but I wanted to let people know if we just happen to fall off the face of the earth. In the meantime, I’ve got to pack. How do people accumulate so much STUFF?!

Nothing wrong with sharing good news!!! That makes me happy for you!

I am down to 11 rads treatments left. Things are getting pretty crunchy at this point. 

The large field treatments will be over this week then they will switch to the 'boost' which is a much smaller, shallower treatment.

I'll be glad to get my energy level back up to normal!

My hope is that everybody is hanging in there and that you all can feel the prayers that are going up for you!!!

Augh! I am sorry. I remember my mom at 'crunchy' point. Use your salve, and pain killers are your friend. you get no points for suffering! My doctor sat me down and and told me that with my migraines, then he turned around looked me in the eye and said,"Seriously, even if you got points, what would you use them on?"  That has stuck. I am more useful when I do not carry around pain with me.

11 seems like a huge number. I will be thinking of you on the count down.

my niece is 11 and was diagnosed with osteosarcoma she had it in her leg they ended up amputating her leg she now now has a prosthesis  and is in remission she is my hero and an amzing young lady . she gives me hope :-)
