HELLO Everybody!!  Thanks for the B-day wishes......it was just another day, but that in itself was a gift anyway big_smile.png

Coyote  - been thinking of you and hope your struggles will lift soon, I mean something's gotta give!!  And of course deerman, Sara, broody - all you guys..........I think of all of you.

I hate to report this with all of you going through the tough times with chemo & meds that can make or break you.  BUT - so far I'm doing great.  All my tests came back normal & fine.  I have NO complaints.  Just one more 6 mo. mammo to do. fl.gif  It's been 2 years since my first diagnosis.

Nothing wrong with sharing good news!!! That makes me happy for you!

I am down to 11 rads treatments left. Things are getting pretty crunchy at this point.

The large field treatments will be over this week then they will switch to the 'boost' which is a much smaller, shallower treatment.

I'll be glad to get my energy level back up to normal!

My hope is that everybody is hanging in there and that you all can feel the prayers that are going up for you!!!

We have tried to make it work, but with the obstacles, cancer, loss of income, downsizing, etc, it’s just not worked out. It’s only because of Family, Friends and the mercy of the Creator we’ve made it this long.

We have a phone call into our lawyer to see if there are any other options. We haven’t qualified so far for any of the programs out there. Time wise, I don’t know when we have to be out the door. I read one place that it’s 10 days after the sale, but we don’t know when the sale is. We are trying to scramble a camper or something for us to live in. I have a friend whose family owns a campground and can get us good lot rent and a couple others that have offered us a corner of their yard to park one. We’ve had 2 friends offer a corner of their properties to set up something. Finding a house or apartment is going to be really hard. I’ve got FurKids! Pet deposits are expensive and most have a limit of 2, I’ve got 7! Yes, Katie is a Service Dog and has to be allowed to live anywhere, but which of the others should I send away? I’ve had FatBoy for 16 years!! We will live in the truck or in a tent before I give up even 1. I did it years ago with my girl, Tippy, in Arizona, I can do it again. How many can fit on an air mattress before it pops?!

I don’t know where we are going, what we are doing, or when it’s all going to be happening, but I wanted to let people know if we just happen to fall off the face of the earth. In the meantime, I’ve got to pack. How do people accumulate so much STUFF?!

What I find stupid (to say it nicely) is that these banks will allow the houses to sit empty rather than work with people to get at least a partial payment!!!

Friends of ours lived in their home free for over a year when they were willing to make a lower payment because the bank refused to take anything but the entire amount of the payment.

It seems like they are trying to help the economy tank.

I just don't get it but then again I don't claim to be an economist

I am very sorry that you are having one thing stacked upon another.

Keep your chin up and keep swingin'!

Augh! I am sorry. I remember my mom at 'crunchy' point. Use your salve, and pain killers are your friend. you get no points for suffering! My doctor sat me down and and told me that with my migraines, then he turned around looked me in the eye and said,"Seriously, even if you got points, what would you use them on?"  That has stuck. I am more useful when I do not carry around pain with me.

11 seems like a huge number. I will be thinking of you on the count down. hugs.gif

CM, thinking of you and sending lots of wishes for smoother sailing ahead. I totally agree - could never give up fur kids - it's a forever promise.  I don't suppose there are any farms in your area that might by some miracle offer a dwelling on site in exchange for a steady watchful presence and reliable farm animal care?  I hope for something that works well for you comes to light very very soon. Hugs, JJ hugs.gif

Good point! I think the itching is the worst. Feel like I got bit by the mother of all mosquitoes!!!

But I try to be thankful and not complain. I am not suffering anywhere near to others.

My heart goes out to those that are on chemo.

As a fellow survivor myself, I wish you the best. I never had radiation, but I had 2 1/2 years of chemo. Proud to say that as of April 5th I have been in remission for 11 years.

Just thought I would offer a brighter view also. Our Gram had breast cancer. Ended up having both breasts removed and treatment. She kept it totally secret from everyone. He husband was dead and her sons and their families were busy so she went through it mostly alone. Her sisters helped her thankfully. She just died this last July 4th at 93 of heart failure. She survived more than 25 years after diagnosis. The breast cancer did come back right before she died, more than likely because her system was just so dang weak. It never even had a chance to cause her a moment of pain.  It never held her back and even as sick as she was, she was ready to fight the cancer off again. She had beaten it once and was not afraid to beat it again. I hope you guys can have the same fortune she had. Chins up and attitudes at the ready!
