Yes, that is a full plate, but we have you in our hearts and prayers.
Go get some chocolate to hold you over.

OMG!  lol

The robot that does the surgery is spooky looking.  It stands about 7 feet over the operating table with these long multiple arms with small precise scissor type things that the Dr controls in his little capsule - he'll be working the robot in one spot next to me and the robot will be doing the cutting.  Another Dr ( my gyno) will be assisting.   I hope I don't have weird dreams that I was taken onto a saucer and being worked on by these aliens.

And then God said to the chicken, "Go forth and poop on everything"

yes no sugar not even fruit except VERY little, and try to eat organically both of these things you will hear from a cancer nutritionalist as the cancer loves sugar and preservatives.

Good luck you will get through this and come out the other side. I am sorry about the surgery though no one wants to loose parts. hugs

Ahhh the "H" word, had to wait for that one for a long time.  Since I was 13, I had the most horrible cycles.  Painful, sickly and disableing.  Had to be on the pill since I was 16 yrs old.  By the time I was 40 nothing was working anymore and I was going to lose my job (being out sick everymonth) so I insisted something be done...When they checked me out with ultra scans one week there was nothing, the next week there were huge fibriods idunno the Dr's gave me "options", when he said the "H" word he acted like it was the worst thing to offer me... It was the only word I wanted to hear!  I had fibroid tumors that were so large (grapefruit) that they couldn't pull them through vaginally.  I had to have the full on surgery.   It was the happiest day of my life! celebrate

Recovery was long, 6 wks off work.  I had horrible constipation from the pain meds.   (dried Aloe caplets are a great natural remedy for constipation)  I have numbness around the scar and have trouble wearing low rise jeans.  They were able to leave my "girls" but took everything else.   The only problem I've had is pain at the scar site, during "activities" with my DH, but that is diminishing over time.   (and it is SOOOOOOOOoo nice not being sick or in pain all the time... and not dealing with the monthly stuff woot )

My personal experience made this an easy choice for me - I hated that part of my body and was glad to see it go!  I wasn't even able to have kids because of it.. so it's not like it was doing me any favors being there.

I know that part of my body is NOT what defines who I am.

I hope your surgery goes well for you!

wow that must have been a long hard road but I am glad it turned out well your attitude about it is amazing! I wonder why one sscan they saw nothing and in the other they could see the tumors did they ever explain why that was?
