Silkie Feathered Ameraucanas adventure

Any chance that anyone has Silkied Ameraucana Hatching eggs available? I am starting some eggs in my Incubator Feb 1st and would love to try some of this gorgeous variety.

Hey Chick (or anyone else)! Do you have any eggs available for shipping? I've got my incubator up and running and have been experimenting with a strand of frizzle americaunas and I would LOVE to breed some frizzled silkies! Not to mention I have been wanting some of these beautiful babies for a few years now! LOL!

I have had yet ANOTHER predator take my next to last hen...I'm sick. I have some splits eggs if you want them and maybe some OE eggs that will hatch 50/50 silkied. We bought. Second round of latches today for the whole pen of apartments... They got my little Cochins too....grrrr!

Omg Chick I'm so sorry about your babies! Every time I've been without feather babies it's been because of predators... it's so heartbreaking...
If you would like I'd be happy to hatch and breed and send eggs back and forth with you so that you can get yours built back up! Maybe you'll end up with some silkie frizzled americaunas!

Well that's nice thank you! I now only have one silkied hen and am hatching every egg I get ... :/ The predators were somehow " taking them" no evidence left at all and only the silkied and Cochins next door...I was frantically trying to figure it out! No dice...we had improved the pen and literally made it into Fort Knox... We did too....matter of fact we figure it so well nothing could get IN. Or. OUT when we fixed the pen so it was so predator proof we did not take into consideration we had possibly closed the animal INSIDE the pen with them....we made those pallet pens like dmrippys the coon was living inside the pen under the main structure inside the pallets traveling from pen to pen...it also ate my wheaten hens,..NEVERt he Roos. I got few eggs....full grown hens were just GONe of course they walked under the coop and got snatched into the rafters no bones no feathers nothing an d we were distraught. Finally figured it out and found the enormous beast in there...all the food water an d eggs he could eat.... Made me sick. Of course it went for the birds that can't fly. :rant
